Vets Whole In One is very proud to be featured on the official PGA website! Several PGA teachers were on hand along side of other dedicated volunteers to help teach veterans golf at one of our recent clinics.

Vets Whole In One

The Vets Whole In One event was held on December 27, 2019 at The Lakes in El Segundo. The event consisted of a clinic, putting contest, lunch, and nine holes of golf. Special guest Joe Grohman (PGA HOPE), 2019 SCPGA Patriot Award recipient, was in attendance. Other PGA Professionals who participated include: Scott Morgan (The Lakes), Brett Lang (El Dorado GC), David Kula-Mader (Westchester GC), Ray Rivera ( Palos Verdes GC), Larry Schneider (Links at Victoria), Jim Dennerline (Heroes GC), and Jim Petralia (LACC) not pictured.

Vets Whole In One - Knights Of Columbus Sponsored Tournament

Thank you to the Knights Of Columbus for Sponsoring such a great event! We had a full field of 36 veteran participants, who played their hearts out. As golf is a fickle game, not all were able to play to their full potential. The mindfulness techniques Stephan teaches us really really came into play for those struggling with their game or those trying to keep a hot round going. Luckily, everyone was a winner at lunch and the awards presentation after the competition! Thank you to the Heroes Golf Course for your hard work setting up the course for this event.
