9/11 Patriots Day Golf Clinic and $5000 putting contest

We had a great Patriots Day event at The Lakes at El Segundo! There were 26 participants, all vying for a chance to win the 5K putt at the inaugural “Vets Whole In” One putting contest. Out of the pack in the initial qualifying round, the group was whittled down to the top 5 contestants. Taking top honors of the contest, and winner of the chance to one putt for $5000 went to AJ!

It was a well deserved win for AJ, with one of his 60 ft qualifying putts dropping right in the cup causing a huge roar from the group! The cheers were heard over the entire driving range and golf course! Although the money putt didn’t go in this time, AJ should be proud of his top place in the competition! Well Done AJ!!!

Special thanks to Scott Morgan, Head Golf Professional at The Lakes of El Segundo. Scott has helped “Vets Whole In One” tremendously over the past year, and we are very grateful for his time, effort and kindness to all the veterans!
