Roosevelt Golf Course Invitational!

Those fortunate enough to play Vets Whole In One’s, Roosevelt 9 Hole Invitational were treated to a wonderful experience. Roosevelt Golf is a golf course owned and operated by the city of Los Angeles and is located in the beautiful hills of Griffith park. As you play the course holes you can actually see the Griffith Park Observatory, coyotes running around, and even deer grazing in the edges of trees. Its quite a site and a heck of a hilly walk around the property!

Even though everyone was eager and excited to play, our meditation expert Stephen Islas, set a calm tone for every player with his grounding mindfulness meditation session. The meditation brought us all together for a for a special moment before teeing off.

After we played the course, the friendly and professional snack shop staff had delicious sandwiches especially prepared for us. The general vibe was very relaxed, fun, and one that, sparked many conversations while we ate.
