3rd Annual Knights of Columbus Sponsored Tournament

Vets Whole In One was honored to successfully complete the, 3rd Annual Knights of Columbus sponsored Tournament! The Heroes Golf Course was in great condition with some incredibly challenging flag positions for all those who came out to play. We had a wonderful day with fun and positive energy abound. After the tournament, participants enjoyed a down home style BBQ, along with an incredible cake, donated by one of our kind and generous supporters.

As usual, the days calm and grounding intentions were set by our mindfulness teacher Stephen Islas. The resulting moment of peace after the meditation, was a great start to the tournament!

Thanks to Dayna Bochco, Knights of Columbus (Santa Monica), The Heroes Golf Course, (Bandini Foundation), John Folmer from VPAN (LA County), and all who pitched in to make another great event come together successfully.

Special thanks to our founder and President, Jim Dennerline, for his tireless effort in coordinating and running the actual golf tournaments. He brings 50 years of PGA teaching and tournament experience to the organization. Jim is the original driving force and creator of Vets Whole In One, who’s goal is to offer and serve veterans with completely free access to mindfulness meditation, golf, and the chance to be a part of our very supportive community.

Thanks again to all who participated! We had a great day of challenging golf, team building, community support, and of course a great lunch and dessert!!

See you at the next one, again!!!
