Mindfulness provides wellness.
Mindful meditation has been proven to calm the mind from traumatic episodes and to reduce the necessity of psychotropic medication for PTSD. Meditation research shows that mindfulness provides a more sustainable positive change.
Golf Provides health
Through USC research study, Golf Intervention for Veteran Exercise (GIVE) demonstrated that golf was uniquely comprehensive in improving cardiovascular health, balance, muscular strength, cognition, and psycho-social well-being. We try to implement many strategies that not only focus on the physical health, but the mental health of veterans as well.
Shared meals provide a supportive community.
After each clinic or tournament, we sit down together to share a meal, veteran connections, community, and well being.
